Burundi’s recent floods in Gatumba have drastically affected families, who have lost their livelihoods. New Generation stepped in, visiting the families directly impacted by the disaster for the third time.
On July 10th, 2024, 97 families (608 people in total) were assisted. Each family received rice, beans, a tent, mineral water, maize flour, cooking oil, and sanitary napkins for young girls and women.
