The inter-school finale was held at Kumariba Gardens, bringing together various schools in the Muha commune of Bujumbura, on Sunday March 16, 2025
The event was organised by ”New Generation Burundi” , in collaboration ”Association de Développement des Jeunes Talents pour le Futur” (A.D.T.J.F).
After impressive performances by the various groups, the jury decided as follows:
- In the ‘Modern Dance’ category, first place went to Lycée Municipal Musaga; Second place went to SunFlower Academy, and third place went to Lycée SOS.
- In the ‘Traditional Dance’ category, first place went to Lycée Municipal Musaga; Lycée Fondamentale de Kinindo came second, Lycée Municipal Kinindo came third and Lycée Fondamentale de Busoro came fourth.
- In the ‘Fashion show’ category, there were only two winners, Lycée Municipal de Kinindo in first place and SunFlower Academy in second place.
- In the ‘Gospel singing’ category, L.M.Kibenga won 1st place and L.M.Kinindo took 2nd place.
The jury was made up of Régis Barigume (Big Zoé), NKUNDIMFURA Vincent, Ishimwe Aimée-Gloire and Israël Igiraneza.
What a fantastic experience this has been and an absolute pleasure hosting an event that brings young talent together. The intent behind this competition is to promote holistic development that goes beyond academics, identify and nurture talents that these young people possess, build social cohesion and encourage healthy competition and resilience.

In his message, the Founder of New Generation Burundi, stated that the young people should adopt values that can direct their lives in a more positive way such as Faith, Integrity, Justice, Compassion, Excellence, Productivity.
